I'm Alyssa. Wife, Wild Child, Swiftie.

In 2021, my husband and I leaped. Living in Indiana at the time (but a California native), we felt called back west. We bought a house-essentially sight unseen- in the mountains of Colorado.

Needing a new job, I turned to an underlying passion. I was taken in by a monumental place in my life: The Barn at Evergreen Memorial Park. The significance of this venue was huge- it's where my husband and I said "I do!"

This was another giant leap for me. I went from working in a lab with a degree in molecular biology, to spending my day with brides & grooms planning the best day of their life.

It was immediately an indisputable, natural fit.

I wanted to take it a step further. I wanted to be more than venue staff. I wanted to be these couple's go to, their friend, and their wedding day life line.

There started Bloom

Once I decided I was ready to start this thing, I spent months upon months racking my brain on what the hell to call it. I wanted something fun and flowery (not so unlike myself), but simple and easy. I was looking up words like "spirit" and "flourish" but nothing was quite sticking. It never felt right.   

Then one day it hit me, the biggest AH HA moment.
